Trivia Games & Challenges

Action starts post-main meal with table against table, team against team in a test of trivia, games and talent.

Each round has 5-6 of the below components:

>> a series of questions from a range of topic areas
>> name the tune from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's
>> physical challenges
>> group charades...
>> exhibitions of hidden talents
>> and other fun filled activities

Participants are given the answers to questions and the scores from each of the activities are tallied on a scoreboard after each round. While the scores are being tallied we give mini table activities/ challenges to keep the crews busy: e.g. straw tower, paper aeroplane challenge and for the most tempered person at each table, the 'dummy spit competition'.

The team/ table leading the competition at the completion of the final round are crowned as the trivia, games and talent challenge champions. Their success is rewarded with some prizes (i.e. carton of beer, scratchies, bottle of wine), but if you want stunning prizes you can supplement the hamper.

Fast moving, competitive, cheerful, interactive FUN!!

Casino Night

Used as a grand finale to your conference, unwind and enjoy our casino night. Our team hosts a fun evening which begins with a horse race after dessert. This gets the group involved with 6 members on Romper Room horses and the rest are given $6,000 funny money by the croupiers/bookies that your company graciously contributes for working so hard during the year.

Delegates then place a bet on the horses and are given a ticket from the bookies stating how much they will win if their horse is first past the post. Horses move down the track, via throws of a huge dice. After the race the 'punters' are invited to try their luck on the gaming tables which include: Black Jack, Roulette and a 2-Up ring. (All croupiers will provide expert knowledge to allow maximum participation by all!) If anyone runs out of money during the casino they can earn some more by informing a croupier. Money can be earnt at the discretion of the croupier who will set him/her a mildly degrading challenge.

The aim is for the delegates to win as much funny money as possible so they can bid for prizes in the auction at the end of the casino. Prizes can be supplied by sponsors or for an extra charge by The activities Team. A suggested time period is 2 hours for the Casino and 20 minutes for the auction. This time schedule is flexible and the evening will be programmed around the client's preference.

Beach Olympics

The Beach Olympics are the perfect event to get rid of the 'cobwebs', get your team into lateral thinking and working together. The AAA Golden Grail is a real trophy for which the teams will be participating, but it is more than that, it is a physical materialization of one teams superiority over every other team.

The activitiesTeam can organise and stage this event so that your delegates will be more susceptible to further instruction, or simply ready to have more fun. The Olympics involve a variety of games that are run over the course of an afternoon or morning, with points awarded for success in a range of events that allow everyone to participate. The games include the flour race, toilet roll rescue, beach flags race, trolley race, "soft softball challenge, beach volleyball, vortex splash, footy gold or nothing and beach scrabble. Points are deducted for whingeing, unsafe practices, bonus points given for creative cheating.

Treasure Hunt

One of our most popular outdoor programme. Extremely fun scavengers hunt where you explore the great outdoors at your conference location. This exercise is designed to make individuals and teams think laterally - look outside the box. You will be searching for clues, looking for the cryptic messages and for the path that leads to your eventual treasure. With clue sheets, maps and photos in hand, your teams must work out their destination.

Ropes Course

Be ready to plan, delegate and strengthen your team bonds. The Golden Grail will only be attained when your team members deal with problems encountered on route, but you must keep your eye on the big picture. A theme can be integrated into the programme to tie in with your conference.

High Elements
- present a series of physical challenges in perceived danger which need to be achieved by both the individual and the team. The challenges are based on a breakthrough concept where the participant is placed in an environment that confronts and requires a person to step outside their zone of comfort and attempt the challenge. The individual is assisted to attempt the challenges by the facilitator and the team.

These challenges expose a number of issues, such as decision-making, team support, cohesion, leadership, communication and risk taking. We are also able to examine group process and dynamics and discuss it as it relates to the team. Our High Ropes programme is conducted on a series of wire cables tensioned between trees and poles at a height of approximately 7 metres. It is simply a series of obstacles at height with the participants supported by friction devices, synthetic ropes and fellow team members. This activity is challenge by choice and there are crucial roles for team members who choose to work on the ground only.
